I will not. Neither should You

I will not

I will not apologize for my genetics.

Neither should you.

These are far beyond our control.

The frame that was fearfully and wonderfully made for me in my mother’s womb is my truth.

I will do all that I can to maintain it and keep it healthy but I will not be held to a “beauty” standard that it not my own.

This design was set long before the world’s beauty focus become one of unattainable shapes unless one goes under a knife at the risk of their life.

Being satisfied with me is my goal.

Being forgiving of me is a must.

I will not be disappointed when I look in the mirror and the reflection that I see isn’t a “coke bottle” with a huge protruding butt, a long waist line, stomach as flat as a board with perky breasts.

Neither should you.

You can no longer make me feel that I need this look to have the love, success and attention that I deserve or that my clothes won’t look right.

It is what it is, I am who I am.

I will not be anyone else.

Neither should you.

I love me.
