True story

True Story 🤞🏽

After the divorce, when men 🙋🏾‍♂️🤷‍♂️that I had working relationships with or those that I had known prior to being 👰🏽‍♀️married, found out,

some would say to me, without prompting and with disappointment, “I just got married😤” or “I’m in a relationship”

I would look at them with confusion😕 lol

They would look at me like why is she looking at me confused 🤔

Questions…

1. Why did they say it that way?🤔

Did they get married or into a relationship because I was “off the market”? It had been 14 years…🧐

2. They never made any advances or let me know that they were interested before, so why now?😕

3. Did they actually think that they were my type or that I wanted to date/marry them?🤷🏽‍♀️

4. Now that I’m single, do you think that I would date a 🤵🏼🤵🏽married man? Is that why you are in my inbox or always in my face?🤡

Saying all this to say, Men, we are just as confused about your actions as you say that you are about ours.

If you decide to make a commitment please 🙏🏽 honor it. If you have any doubts or feel that you want to stray, please be honest and don’t waste someone else’s life.

A👸🏾 black women’s average life expectancy is 78.5 years.

A 🤴🏿black man’s average life expectancy is 68 years.

⏳We don’t have any time to be wasting.

Simply put, we just want to be genuinely loved 🥰by you just as much as you want to be loved by us.

We need each other. Let’s stop fighting, comparing & blaming and let’s start being trusting, being trustworthy, working together & loving ❤️❤️

PS…

Please stop doing #4 if you think that I’m going to help you cheat on your wife, cause I’m not. I didn’t like it done to me.
